Burnable block

Introduction

The Burnable block component will burn when hit by a laser having the right color. You can choose the color of the laser required to burn this block. You can also modify its material.

After the block is burned, it will explode, damaging the player and giving them knockback. It will then stay invisible (but still selectable by puzzle creators) until the puzzle is reset.

  • Aim for the block on which you want to place the component. This can be on the floor, ceiling, or wall. Then right-click with the "place component" button in hand.

  • Now that the component is placed, the burnable block edition shortcut bar will open and you will be able to edit the component.

Interactions

Laser interaction

When a laser with the required color hits the burnable block, it will burn, explode, and let the laser pass. The explosion will damage the player and give them knockback.

The color received must match the expected color. The burnable block can be configured to wait for the color you want or to accept any color. It's important to note that burnable block can assemble several colors. In fact, if it receives several lasers, it will add up the colors it gets hit by. See the chapter on color addition on the Colors page for more details.
