Music block

Introduction​

The Music Block component will play the specified music when activated.

You can edit extensively edit the conditions that activate the component. You can loop the track as well as stop the track when the player exits the area.

How to place a Music Block​

  • Open Lasers-Enigma main shortcut bar by typing the /lasers command.
  • Aim for the block on which you want to place the component. This can be on the floor, ceiling, or wall. Then right-click with the "place component" button in hand.
  • Click the "Music Block" item.
  • Now that the component is placed, the Music Block edition shortcut bar will open and you will be able to edit the component.

How to edit a Music Block​

If the Music Block edition shortcut bar is not open already, simply right-click on the Music Bock to open it.

Via Shortcut Bar​

From the Music Block edition shortcut bar you have several possibilities:

  • You can switch the track to the next song.
  • You can switch the track to the previous song.
  • You can loop the track while the player is in the area.
  • You can enable stop the track on exit.
  • You change the condition mod.
  • You can open Component Configuration for more possibilities.

Via Component Configuration menu​

In the component configuration menu, you will have access to what we summed up before, and 2 other features:

  • You can increase/decrease the minimum requirement for your condition mod.
  • You can increase/decrease the maximum requirement for your condition mod.
  • You change the condition mod for the music block.

Songs​

You can add new songs by following the steps listed here, to make your players experience even better!

The song list is sorted alphabetically (case-insensitive), so the next song / previous song buttons cycle through the songs in the same order on every server, regardless of when each file was added.
