Submitting Feature Requests​

When the issue creation page opens on GitLab, it is imperative that you use the provided feature request template. This ensures that all necessary details are captured from the start.

  1. Check for Existing Requests:
    Before submitting a new feature request, please search our Issue Board to confirm that the feature hasn’t already been proposed.

  2. Submit a New Feature Request:
    When filing your feature request, ensure you include the following:

    • Title: A short and clear description of the requested feature.
    • Feature Description:
      • Provide a detailed explanation of the new feature or enhancement.
      • Include specific use cases or scenarios where this feature would be beneficial.
      • Attach any mockups, design references, or additional materials that help illustrate the idea.
    • Motivation and Benefits:
      • Explain why this feature is needed.
      • Describe how it would improve the project or user experience.
    • Additional Information:
      • Include any supplementary details, such as relevant logs, screenshots, or links to related discussions.
